Which is better, Individual Therapy or working with a Group? What are the advantages of Individual Therapy?
There are many reasons people seek out the support of a therapist. Participating in regular therapy with a trained professional can provide an individual with a safe space to address depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic pain, and many other life struggles.
Adult, adolescent, and child therapy can be done at our DTC office, one-one-one, between the individual and an experienced professional. However, therapy can also be conducted in a group setting with two or more receiving support at the same time.
There are advantages to both. Whether Individual Therapy or in a group setting, it truly depends on your preference, needs, and circumstances.
At Creative Counseling Center, we specialize in Individual Therapy in the DTC for adults, children and adolescents. We offer various modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT Tapping, HRT, play therapy for children, art therapy for all ages, and much more.
While we do not offer groups at our Creative Counseling Center in the DTC, we may be able to connect you with support group resources.
If you or a loved one is struggling and feel Individual Therapy would be beneficial, we’d love to hear from you. We offer a Free Phone Consultation so you can get to know us a bit. Simply complete the brief from below and a member of our team will reach out. After learning about your specific circumstances, we can help determine whether our practice and which therapist is a good fit.
